8 months ago today...

our daughter Megan was born, we are celebrating Megan's 8 month birthday by giving her a bath and fighting with her to take a nap. It's been quite the party house here so far today. Megan slept quite peacefully last night from about 10:30 - 8:00 this morning. She got up, had a bottle, went back down for an hour, had another bottle, then a bath (quite tramatic, for all of us!), we had some play time and then she started acting tired. We tried putting her down at 1:30 for a nap, it is 3:15 and she has finally been asleep for about 15 minutes. She was being a stinker. All in all it seems we may be getting into a bit of a routine, I hope so. I think we may have kept her up too long this afternoon and she got over tired.

Anyway, other than that another pretty uneventful day here. We haven't been outside for two days now. It is still below zero so the only thing I may do is make a run to the garbage dumpster. Tomorrow it's supposed to warm up a bit, it may actually get into double-digit temps! We are very excited. We are planning to get a babysitter and go to lunch and then maybe do a little food shopping.

Looks like Sunday was a bad day for sports in Buffalo, The Bills lost their last game of the season, thank God that's over!!! The Sabres even lost a rare game. I thought we could at least count on the Sabres. Well, I guess that's it for now.
