One day and counting!

Here I sit on the couch watching TV when I should be doing a lot of other things around the house since we are leaving tomorrow. I guess I am trying to get my fill since there are no English channels where we are going. We have collected about 80 DVDs from friends and family to entertain us while there. I should be packing and cleaning the house.

Steve is busy at work today trying to update his co-workers on what is going to be happening during his 7 week absence. I am very appreciative of his employer for allowing him to be gone that long. I really wasn't to interested in being in Kazakhstan by myself for a couple of weeks. (Both parents need to be in Kaz until the court date, then one parent can go home if needed) Luckily for me Steve is able to stay the whole time.

We did find out that there will be a few other families in Kaz (who are also using our Agency) when we are there. So this should help to keep us entertained.

Well back to packing or should I say back to the TV.

The excitement of the next few days will be overwhelming-- a feeling that won't leave you, one that you will remember for years to come. It seems like yesterday when I was waiting in a room to receive my first baby--will I love her? Will she love me? The answer came in one quick moment: yes! I wish you a wonderful trip and time to get to know Megan Caroline! We love her already.

I can't take it anymore! Did you make it? I am sure you did but the anticipation is killing me. I am sure you are enjoying your first moments with your beautiful daughter instead of worrying about those of us on the edges of our seats back home. Hope you are doing well!
