Where in the wide world of sports is Kazakhstan?

We've been getting a lot of questions about Kazakhstan. Here is a little info, Kazakhstan is a former Republic of the Soviet Union. Next to Russia, Kazakhstan is the largest country that came out of the USSR. It is located to the west of China and south of Russia. We will be going up to the Northern part of the country, near the city of Petropavlovsk. There's nothing like a trip to southern Siberia in December/January. Hmmm...I wonder if there will be room in my suitcase for my bathing suit.
